This painting was inspired by mandalas in Philip Rawson's book The Art of Tantra. Green, red, blue and yellow are used to stand for Adenosine, Thiamine, Guanine and Cytosine: The molecules of DNA. All of life uses these four molecules to exist and reproduce into the future.
